A suspected drunk driver plowed into six people \u2014 including three children \u2014 during a Halloween event outside a Brooklyn NYPD precinct, cops and sources said.<\/p>\n

The 56-year-old motorist lost control of his black sedan around 4 p.m. and mounted the curb \u2014 hitting the victims at the \u201cTrunk or Treat\u201d event outside the 83rd Precinct stationhouse on Knickerbocker Avenue near Bleecker Street in Bushwick, police said.<\/p>\n

He also struck a private ambulance stationed outside for the event, authorities said.<\/p>\n

A 31-year-old woman and her two daughters, 6 and 11, were taken to Bellevue Hospital; an 8-year-old boy and 74-year-old woman were rushed to Wyckoff Heights Medical Center; and a 53-year-old woman was brought to the Elmhurst Hospital Center, according to the NYPD.<\/p>\n

All six were listed in stable condition, cops said.<\/p>\n

\u201cA little girl, her arm is peeled off, literally,\u201d said one mother who attended the event with her 9-year-old daughter. \u201cThe lady injured her leg, and then one of the ladies, the back of her head was injured, and she has a hole in the back of her head.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cThe impact was rough, like hard, like it pushed,\u201d added the mom, who described the ordeal as \u201ctraumatizing,\u201d especially for the kids who saw it.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cWe thought it was a shooting. That\u2019s how bad it was. Everyone started running because we thought it was a shooting.\u201d<\/p>\n

Another mother, Caira Lewis, said she had to move her daughter out of the path of the wreck.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m shaking right now. I can\u2019t breathe,\u201d she said, while holding her daughter in her arms. \u201cI want to go home. Like it was horrible because I had to throw my baby behind me. It was a lot going on. I know the kids were scared.\u201d<\/p>\n

Still, she said her daughter seemed unfazed in the aftermath and \u201conly cares about the candy right now.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cBut it was a lot of blood out here today, and I don\u2019t want to see that,\u201d Lewis added.<\/p>\n

The driver was taken into police custody, where he is undergoing an alcohol breathalyzer test, sources said.<\/p>\n

His passenger, a 46-year-old woman, was also taken into custody, according to the sources.<\/p>\n
