Vice President JD Vance fired back at Barack Obama Thursday after the former president likened the current White House look to that of a Cheesecake Factory run by Saddam Hussein<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cI didn\u2019t fully get it. I kind of like the Cheesecake Factory,\u201d Vance said of Obama\u2019s jab<\/a> at a Texas town hall event hosted by Fox News\u2019 Jesse Watters.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cI think it\u2019s like a good example of how Obama, without even trying to be, just can\u2019t help himself from being super elitist,\u201d the vice president argued. <\/p>\n

Vance criticized Obama\u2019s comments during a town hall in Texas. Fox News<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

\u201cRemember, this is the guy who said that people who wanted good jobs were \u2018clinging to their guns and their religion,\u2019 as if God and the Second Amendment were something to be ashamed of,\u201d he added. <\/p>\n

In attempting to mock President Trump, Vance said Obama \u201cdrove home how divorced the Democrats are from actual Americans.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

Obama unleashed the decor diss Saturday while stumping for Democrats in Ohio, as he accused Trump of spending more time sprucing up the White House than helping Americans.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cI mean, I don\u2019t know if you\u2019ve noticed, but he seems very focused on home renovations,\u201d Obama said. \u201cHe should be on HGTV.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s got the White House looking like Saddam Hussein opened a Cheesecake Factory.\u201d<\/p>\n

Watters noted that Obama seemingly backpedaled<\/a> on his criticism during a rally in Atlanta on Wednesday, where he insisted as \u201cthe father of two daughters\u201d the Cheesecake Factory was \u201cmy jam for about a decade.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cSee, that\u2019s exactly the point, though \u2026\u00a0 he realized, \u2018Oh, a lot of the people we want to vote for us actually like the Cheesecake Factory,\u2019\u201d Vance explained.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The veep added that the establishment is \u201cthe weirdest restaurant to hate on.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cI just don\u2019t understand. Like, there are restaurants I can imagine beating up on \u2013 not the Cheesecake Factory,\u201d Vance said. \u201cLeave us alone, Barack!\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n
