Kevin Federline is facing money troubles now that his Britney Spears well has run dry<\/a> \u2013 he has been hit with a lawsuit over a hefty credit card tab.<\/p>\n

According to documents obtained by Page Six, the former backup dancer, 48, owes at least $117,704 total to City National Bank spanning a credit card, a line of credit and an overdraft line.<\/p>\n

Federline signed the agreement with the bank in late November 2024 \u2014 right around the time the \u201cToxic\u201d artist\u2019s final child support payment<\/a> landed in his account.<\/p>\n

As we previously reported, Federline initially received $40,000 a month in child support while raising their two children<\/a>, Sean Preston and Jayden James, in Hawaii.<\/p>\n

After Sean Preston turned 18, the payments were later reduced to $20,000 and continued until Jayden James graduated from high school.<\/p>\n

In his memoir, \u201cYou Thought You Knew,\u201d Federline said those payments went toward security and maintaining a standard of living the boys experienced with Spears<\/a>, which \u201ceasily ran well over $40,000 a month.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThe money was gone almost as soon as it came in,\u201d he claimed in the book.<\/p>\n

The lawsuit claims Federline was given until August 2026 to pay his credit card debt. Meanwhile, his personal line of credit was due in June 2025, with his personal overdraft line due two months earlier in April.<\/p>\n

The bank isn\u2019t just looking for the tab; it also wants Federline to cough up unpaid accrued interest \u2013 a steep 20.5% on the credit card, 7.5% on the line of credit and 18% for the overdraft line.<\/p>\n

Federline\u2019s attorney did not immediately respond to Page Six\u2019s request for comment.<\/p>\n
